It was a perfect storm of “wtf” that struck lightning into the spaces I had quietly shut the door on to just keep going — for comfort, for “stability”, for my team, for the work unfinished.
That illumination changed everything for me because it became clear that the values of that world not only violated my own, they became completely incompatible with my existence inside it.
Like most turning points, it didn’t arrive with clarity at first, just the unmistakable sense that things I had tolerated for years had suddenly become impossible to justify.

ON : HOW CREATIVE CULTURE LOST ITS CENTER

Over time, original thought, the creative process, and creative work has become suppressed, stifled, systemized, devalued, and chronically watered down.

Not because it was inevitable, but because we started to believe the lie that originality was a luxury, not a necessity.

That big vision was less valuable than guaranteed short-term return.

That our creativity and unique expression was merely a means to an end.

That creating was something we only do if we can “make a living” from it, or that unless it could be scaled, monetized, or algorithm-approved, it wasn’t worth pursuing.

And so, bit by bit, the most human of instincts — to imagine something only we can and bring it into form — was numbed.

And then we forgot.

ON : NOURISHMENT, INGREDIENTS & DISCONNECTION

We talked about the dairy, yes. But also the cosmic nature of cows. The difference between biodynamic farming and everything else. The intelligence of the land. The ethics of doing good work without attachment to outcomes. The universal truth that the right way — the better way, often for all — is almost always the harder way.

The conversation, whether acknowledged or not, was about far more than dairy. It was universal. I’ve returned to it mentally countless times since.

When have these truths been more relevant than now?

a note on creative integrity

This work was made to be shared in essence, not extracted in form.
These words, ideas, images are shared to inspire, not to be copied, lifted, swiped, repackaged, or borrowed otherwise without care. If they resonate, let them spark something original in you.
